I do the “staging area” myself, with a combination of hard-drive text file, single rambling blog post in eternal draft status, and copious amounts of Post-It notes.

As a former Clevelander who lives in New Jersey and works frequently in New York, I share your opinion of road signs around here. I can't understand why it's so hard for them to get right. There are certain interchanges where I dare you to get off at the right exit.

I use WordPress to manage my works in progress, as well. On the rare occasion that I want to work on something offline (on an airplane, for instance), I will use Notepad or something similar, but that is quite rare.

I’ve only recently started blogging “full-time” and I’ve found the web clipboard in Flock a real god-send. Helps me organize snippets etc.

I just have to get the whole, posting a regular basis thing down pat now ;-)

I know what you mean.

I actually use writer.bighugelabs.com or WordPress to manage all of my works in progress.

Currently I have over 40 articles I’ve started writing and saved in WordPress.

I just pop in, throw down a link and some text for later, then I can come back and revisit the idea. This saves me from writing the article right then, as well as keeps a content “buffer” to try posting something every day.
