I just lost my Mother three weeks ago, and the story I read here (but I’ll have to get that magazine now) echoed exactly how I’ve felt about people not knowing wat to say. Who knows what to say? How do you respond? And what a wonderful tribute to your Mother.

I thought you just wrote great books about CSS and were my inspiration that way. (I was looking up something else and found this by accident)

I have that issue of Fray and I initially read it through without paying attention to the author names or even realising that you were a contributor. I just re-read it, and having read about your pain at your mother’s passing on this blog in the past, it’s all the more poignant now.
