Your Father's Oldsmobile

Sadly, I was forced to discountine the show in fall 2005 due to time constraints. I have hopes of returning to it one day, so for now, I'll leave the page up the way it was when the show ended.

Music from the period 1920 - 1950, roughly speaking.
Wednesday mornings from 8:00am until 10:00am, Eastern time.

Finally, a reason to look forward to the morning drive time, and a great way to propel you into the second half of the week! Start your Wednesday off right with swing, jazz, and other favorites starring the likes of Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, Louis Jordan, Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Muggsy Spanier, Kid Ory, the International Sweethearts of Rhythm, Clarence Williams, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman, Bix Beiderbecke, Alberta Hunter, Jabbo Smith, The Andrews Sisters, Artie Shaw, Charlie Barnet, King Oliver, Ella Fitzgerald, Chick Webb, and so much more. Requests and dedications are always welcomed.

If you live in the Cleveland area, you can hear "Your Father's Oldsmobile" on WRUW 91.1-FM. If you live anywhere else in the world, you can listen to the show via our live audio feed.

Show Archive

Unfortunately I had to discontinue the archive due to space constraints. You can still get the most recent show via WRUW's music archive-- just go to the schedule page, find my show (Wednesday morning) and pick the version you want!
