ATSY FLEMING, NATIONAL AIDS Policy Director and
Donna Shalala, U. S. Secretary for Health & Human Services are slated to visit Cleveland on July 23 to hear your thoughts and recommendations about how to effectively address AIDS/HIV.
The Museum is proud to serve as the Cleveland Town Hall
Meeting host for the 10-city White House Regional Briefing on AIDS initiative.
This Town Hall Meeting builds upon the Museum's continuing work in community AIDS education. This year the Museum collaborated with five local organizations in forming CARRES: The Consortium for Adolescent Risk-Reduction Education Services. The United Way Services and AIDS Funding Collaborative made it possible for CARRES to conduct a needs assessment to determine gaps in AIDS/HIV education and services for adolescents.
This National Town Meeting is your opportunity to voice your thoughts to White House policymakers who will lead a local dialogue on this critical issue. Please call the Museum for specific times.
